This in-depth three-day First Aid at Work Level 3 course, endorsed by TQUK as a Vocational Training Qualification (VTQ), provides comprehensive first aid training for individuals who are required to be a designated first aider in their workplace. This course goes beyond basic emergency first aid, equipping participants with a wider range of skills and knowledge to manage various injuries and illnesses effectively in a workplace setting. Main Topics: 1. Understanding the Role of a First Aider. 2. Assessing an Incident. 3. Unresponsive Casualty. 4. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Defibrillation. 5. Choking. 6. Wounds and Bleeding. 7. Shock. 8. Burns and Scalds. 9. Fainting. 10. Anaphylaxis. 11. Fractures, Sprains, and Strains. 12. Head and Spinal Injuries. 13. Chest Injuries. 14. Eye Injuries. 15. Poisoning. 16. Major Illnesses. 17. Environmental Exposure.
